The restaurant setting is nice, and I love the architecture of the place. The vibe and service were good. The food presentation was great, but the taste and flavor were totally underwhelming. I ordered chicken and waffles, and Ensemada bread pudding. The chicken was bland, and they didn't offer syrup with the dish, so you'd have to ask. Although their homemade pancake syrup is pretty good. Their Ensenada bread pudding was actually pretty decent tasting, but it was hard and dry. This place was actually a bit disappointing. Only if their food was as good as their restaurant setting and presentation.

The food at this restaurant is mediocre at best. In my opinion, it is highly overrated and does not justify the high prices. Considering it is summer, but the temperature inside the restaurant is not adequately cool. I ordered a burger that cost ₱400, and to be honest, I have had much better-tasting burgers that were significantly cheaper. While the overall experience was okay, you won't be missing out on anything else. It's a bit disappointing, to say the least. I suggest you either check out the place for yourself if you're curious, or simply skip it altogether. There are plenty of other restaurants in Dumaguete that offer similar or even lower prices but provide far better food quality. Save your money and explore other dining options that will truly satisfy your taste buds.

Buglas Isla Cafe is an amazing place to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday. The cafe has a unique blend of traditional and modern architectural design, giving it a very appealing look. The food is also outstanding, with a variety of mouthwatering options to choose from. We particularly loved the pizza and the 5 cheese, which was simply amazing. And when it comes to dessert, Buglas Isla Cafe definitely delivers. Their desserts are divine and will leave you wanting more. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Buglas Isla Cafe and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a great atmosphere.

Nice place to dine out with friends and family. Though pricey, The breakfast boat was awesome despite being just your typical Pinoy Almusal! Service was good! Love the ambience of the place.
