Stonyridge Vineyard

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. We arrived without a reservation and they graciously accommodated us. We were fortunate, as it was a very busy day following the third Lions Test on Sunday, with many visitors (like ourselves) on Waiheke. Our server was a charming French lady who couldn't have been more helpful. We ordered the tasting platter, which was enormous, along with some delicious scallops, and concluded our meal with exquisite cheeses. To top it off, we enjoyed some wine tasting and a couple of glasses of wine, making it a fantastic afternoon.

The staff is fantastic, the wine is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The kindness and attentiveness of the staff are remarkable, and you can sense the positive energy of the place, complemented by its breathtaking scenery.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and was impressed by the stunning ambiance. The service was exceptional, and the food and wine were delicious. We ordered the sharing platter, which was delightful, and I particularly enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and the outstanding Cabernet Franc.

A beautiful famous vineyard that is tucked away on Waiheke island. Make sure to make reservations before coming and it is 35 minutes away on the ferry. The wines were delicious, the cheeses exceptional and the ambiance just breathtaking. If you are a wine drinker you can miss this place. It looks like a little village in France. The staff were nice and friendly as well.

Heck of a spot at Stoney Ridge Vineyard. If you want a sit down lunch inside, make reservations. We sat outside for the tasting menu. The chips and guacamole, smoked fish pâté, and Chicken Gyro were all very good. The gyro was much larger than k was expecting and very filling. This place has two helipad’s which is quite a site to see.
