Hortelã - Portimão

Fantastic restaurant, a blessing in our holidays. The food is amazing, the service is like a few old friends you would meet for lunch. Will recommend everyone and our new stop in Portimão.

We loved it, had a few wines and they also made good fresh drinks. Very nice menu with good food. We took the padron pepper, cow's cheese plate, gazpacho and tortilla. All were very good, even the landscape was romantic and cute.

Lovely vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Friendly service, nice terrace, good food. So why 4 stars? Because the current 4.8 stars rating seems a bit over inflated to me. This is a good place, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not mind-blowingly good, just good. The dishes are tasty but not extraordinary. So 4.5 stars would be a fairer rating I think.

Great food, beautifully decorated with lots of attention for details, friendly service, 100% recommend

Hortelã is a little gem of a place for healthy delicious food. The roof terrace is beautiful, and really atmospheric. We had delicious organic gins to start followed by a medley of dishes from the padrano peppers with mustard and vegan caprese salad and tofu/seitan dishes for mains. The staff are lovely and service was great. You can feel the love that goes into all the details of this establishment.
